Help - Using The Right Resort Web Site

The properties featured on The Right Resort web site are ran directly by the property owner. When you make a booking enquiry you will be dealing with the property owner direct. For more information please read the The Right Resort disclaimer.

The Right Resort Web Site
You can not only look for holiday properties but also look at the information we have included on the various types of holidays, the regions, towns, resorts and more. There are sections that offer Travel Guides, Phrase Books and Travel Planner that offers links to Airport Parking & Hotels, Car Hire, Ferries, Flights, Insurance, Money, Motoring, Rail & Bus and more...

The Right Resort web site is built up from a number of sections. There is the main introduction then there is the simple and advanced search facilities located on the Top and left menu. There is a simple 'Where do you
want to go?' menu that takes you direct to the country of your choice.

Subsections for traveler and holidaymaker Information can be found in the Travel Guides and Travel Planner sections accessed from the top menu. There are numerous sections for searching, information including pages for each country and other useful information.

Finding a Holiday Property
All of the properties are listed by City/Town, Property Type and Price. If you know the city or town then go to the search page and click on the drop down box and select the town, you can choose a property type and /or price range (less then).

If you do not know the country we recommend that you look at the information in the Travel Guide section for that country and choose one of Cities, Towns or Areas.

Search
You can then go to the main search page and search for a holiday property.

If you already know the Property ID (PID), then enter this in the search field box PID and click search.

There is also an Advanced Holiday Property Search & Search by Dates facility located at the bottom of the Search feature.

The first page you see shows the properties in the City/Town of your choice or if you entered the PID, the actual property. You can sort these in different orders or choose different property types using the drop down menus along the top of the listings.

If the property has a range of prices for different time of the year you can review these by clicking 'Click to view price range: v' option at the bottom of the section.

When you click on the property picture or the link ' Click here for more details' you will be shown the full property details. If the owner has created a Brochure or a Virtual Tour, you can click on these to view them. These are located within the property information box and at the top left of the next detailed information section next to the property name.

Check Availability
If you want to look at the availability of the property for specific weeks/days etc., then click on the link [Availability]. This will open up the Availability Calendar showing the dates that the property is available for (see the calendar legend for details). To see what the different price bands are click on the small blue ? icon.

Note: The property owner may not use the Availability Calendar and you may then be directed to their own web site or to a simple booking request form.

Making a Booking Request
If the property owner does not use the Availability Calendar you will be asked to select the number of people wishing to stay in the property (if different prices apply). Then you are directed to an enquiry form that you can fill in and email direct to the property owner to make a booking request.

If the property owner does use the Availability Calendar you will see the calendar for the current and future years.

If you are interested in making a booking enquiry about the property, click on your required dates, then click [Make a Booking Request] button. This opens up an online form showing you the details about the property and shows the price to be paid for the booking (a part deposit may be required). Fill in the information, ask a question about the property if you want, then click [Send].

The property owner will then email you with the details directly.

If the property owner does not use this method you will be directed to their web site to make the booking request. Alternatively you may find the contact details (telephone, fax, e-mail link) of the owner at the bottom of each property listing if they have added these.

Each property owner will have their own way of processing a booking and method of payment. This will be between you and the property owner, The Right Resort is not part of any agreements or contracts you enter into.

You can also click the 'Contact the Owner' link and send them an information request. If you have any particular requirements or questions to ask, there is room on the form for this.

Important
Please remember that these are private property owners and The Right Resort cannot answer your questions. Most property owners will respond promptly, however, if you do not get a response within a couple of days, we would recommend that you contact them directly.
