Staying at Azalea Falls Lodge is "like staying in a wonderful treehouse" that "overlooks an enchanted hollow". Situated on top of the hollow, across from an 85 foot seasonal waterfall, the lodge is a Frank Lloyd Wright styled home, built of rock, glass and redwood. It is an outdoor enthusiast's dream come true with 3000sf of decks and patios that overlook the 136 surrounding acres.
Inside, there is luxury uncommon in the Buffalo National River area. Every modern convenience is combined with beautiful home decoration and abundant artwork. Comfort and room to breathe are assured by the 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, Jacuzzi tub, fully appointed kitchen and 2 fireplaces. These amenities are only enhanced by satellite TV, VCR with movies, DVD player. stereo, telephone/computer hookup and 3 sleeper sofas for larger groups. The lodge was designed to be a private residence and rates are for rental of the home in its entirety.
Azalea Falls has also added a very luxurious chalet styled log home Filled with artwork and antiques, it has 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, Jacuzzi tub, fully furnished kitchen, all the amenities of the lodge and 1000sf of decks and patios. Both the lodga and cabin are secluded, private, separated by a short walk or drive and may be rented separately or together for larger groups.
Naturally blended into the beautiful Ozark Mountains, Azalea Falls Lodge and Cabin are very private, naturals for small weddings, honeymoons, anniversary celebrations, family reunions, and church and business retreats. Outdoor activities include relaxing, hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, canoeing the Buffalo River (March through mid June), elk watching, fishing, bird watching, nature study and apprecitaion.
