A recently refurbished former gentleman's residence that has a unique art-deco feel having been stylishly decorated in modern relaxing tones which blend beautifully with original features such as our original tiled flooring, the 19th Century stained glass windows, the ornate fireplaces and cornicing and our fully restored pitch pine staircase, doors and shutters.

Our beautiful Guest Lounge features large comfortable leather sofas in which to chill out in front of a 42inch flat screen Plasma Television and throughout all of the public areas we feature a splendid collection of limited edition Art Nouveau prints, French Café style art from the 1920's and wood and stone carvings from around the world.

Offers a Fully Licensed Bar and Dining Room with a superb selection of wines, continental beers, spirits and liqueurs. We are also well known for our extensive collection of laid-back eclectic music that we feature whilst Dining. 1 Park Road is simply the perfect base for Windermere for discovering the surrounding lakes and fells. We are only a 5 Minute walk to the numerous pubs, restaurants and cafés, the train and bus stations of Windermere village and a 20 minute stroll to Bowness and the famous lake itself. We're in the heart of the action but occupy a quiet side road for peace and tranquillity. We are also close to Ambleside, Grasmere and Lakeside, it's the ideal location to explore the South Lakes Region, the most beautiful corner of England.

All of our extremely spacious, high-ceiling rooms can comfortably cater for singles, couples and families up to four.

They all enjoy excellent quality furniture and linen, high quality mattresses, private En-suite shower facilities, Colour TV, CD Player and Tea & Coffee making facilities.
